Before attempting any manual/optional updates for your Retroid Pocket 2, please download and install the drivers below:

[https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb These drivers] will allow your PC to talk to your RP2 while the console is on and running the Android OS. Download the zip file, extract it
then right click on andrdoid_winusb.inf and click "Install".


If you are having any issues with connecting your device to your pc or if you are trying to reflash the device, make sure to install the Android SDK suite. It will include the driver's for USB support. If you have previous drivers please make sure to uninstall them as well. https://developer.android.com/studio#downloads

Download the official Android IDE and developer tools to build apps for Android phones, tablets, wearables, TVs, and more.


If you do not want the whole suite, you can just install the USB drivers. Make sure to read the instructions on the site. https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb
